Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Thursday, announced to restore domestic flight operations across the country with the exception of few airports.
According to, CAA domestic flight operations has been restored from all airports across the country and operators will be obliged to implement strict coronavirus SOPs.
However, Airports in Turbat, Pangjur, Dalbadin, Zhob, Pasni, Moenjodaro, Nawabshah and Bahawalpur will be exempted from the resumption of domestic flight operations.

“Cargo, Special flights and Private Aircraft Operations will also be available for all Airports,” said the statement issued by CAA.
The development comes as Pakistan had initially suspended domestic and international flight operations due to COVID-19 crisis. Both domestic and international flights were then resumed but were limited to major airports in Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar.
The development comes as Pakistan has been witnessing a significant decline in coronavirus cases. So far 281,863 COVID-19 cases have been reported in the country, with 256,058 recoveries and 6,035 deaths.
