Javed Jabbar’s nomination in National Finance Commission (NFC) as Balochistan representative has been challenged in Balochistan High Court (BHC).
According to details, Mohammad Aslam Bhootani – independent member of the National Assembly from Gwadar-Lasbela, has filed a petition in BHC challenging Javed Jabbar’s nomination in NFC.
The petition was filed by Bhootani’s lawyer, Advocate Amanullah Kanrani on his behalf, citing that Javed Jabbar is niether a resident of Balochistan nor an expert of financial matters and therefore is ineligible to represent Balochistan in NFC.
The court is expected to issue notices to the relevant parties in coming days to initiate the hearing of this case.
