Quetta: Government of Balochistan has announced the extension of province-wide lockdown till April 21.
According to the notification issued by provincial home department, the decision has been made to extend the coronavirus lockdown in the province to ensure public safety and to curb the virus spread.
All public gatherings, inter-city and inter-province travel and religious gatherings will remain suspended and strict action will be taken against those violating the lockdown directives.
The decision comes due to the continuous surge in number of COVID-19 cases.
A total of 202 confirmed coronavirus cases have been reported in Balochistan province with one casualty so far.
