Asim Saleem Bajwa – Chairman China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority, on Monday announced that Pakistan and China are set to sign Azad Pattan Hydel Power project agreement today.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister(SAPM) on Information and Broadcasting took to social media to reveal that Prime Minister Imran Khan will be attending the signing ceremony of the US$ 1.5 billion Azad Pattan Hydel Power project.
“PM will grace the signing ceremony of Azad Pattan Hydel power Project today with China Gezhouba,” he tweeted.

According to Asim Bajwa, the project includes ‘no fuel import’ characteristics and will prove to be a significant step towards the adaptation of ‘cheaper’ and re-usable energy in Pakistan.
