An anti-terrorism court (ATC), Karachi, awarded death sentence to two suspects involved in the deadly Sehwan Shrine bombing case on Monday.
As per the details, two suspects namely Nadir and Furqan, involved in Sehwan shrine suicide bombing, were awarded death sentence on Monday by an anti-terror court in Karachi.
The suspects were identified from the CCTV footages and were found guilty of being key facilitators to the Sehwan Shrine suicide bombing incident back in 2019.
In addition to the death sentence, Nadir – one of the suspects, had also been awarded life imprisonment for the possession of explosive materials.
It is to be noted that a suicide bomber had struck the Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine in Sehwan, Sindh on February 16, 2017, killing at least 82 people and wounded 383 others.
