An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) acquitted Lyari gang war kingpin Uzair Baloch in three cases over lack of substantial evidence against the accused.
As per details, ATC acquitted Uzair Baloch in three cases registered against him over possession of explosive materials. The Lyari gang war kingpin was also accused of targeting policemen back in 2012.
The three cases were registered at Karachi’s Kalri police station.
Prior to this a district and session court had acquitted Uzair Baloch in two murder cases citing lack of evidence.
More than 52 cases were filed against Uzair Baloch, of which 49 are still active over various charges including extortion, target killings, possession of explosive materials and others.
So far he has been acquitted in five cases.
