Federal Minister Asad Umar has called with Pir Pagara Sibghatullah Rashdi, along with Governor Sindh Imran Ismail in Karachi, here on Saturday.
Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar while addressing a press conference said that the federal government attaches special importance to the development of Sindh and funds have been earmarked for development projects in the province in the federal budget for the financial year 2020-21.
He was addressing a presser after meeting with Pir Sibghatullah Rashdi – chief of Pakistan Muslim league functional, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail accompanied him during a meeting.
The minister said as the K-IV project is an important project of providing water to the people of Karachi, the federal government has also been earmarked funds in the budget for it.
Answering a question, Asad Umar said Prime Minister constituted an inquiry commission into sugar scandal and made its report public.
He hoped that National Assembly will pass the federal budget on Monday.
He said overall political situations and matters of bilateral interest were discussed with Pir Sahib Pagara in the meeting.
