Pakistan Army’s top brass reviewed global, regional and internal security environment and reiterated military’s support to civil administration pertaining to COVID-19 situation.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), 240th Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC) was chaired by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ Rawalpindi on Thursday (today).
The forum expressed satisfaction in operational preparedness of the Army displayed during recently held formation exercises.
Furthermore, the meeting also mulled over situation along the Eastern Border / LOC especially the environment post cease fire understanding 2021 between the DGsMO. Forum reaffirmed complete solidarity with Kashmiri brethren in their struggle for right to self-determination.
Army’s top brass also reviewed security situation in Newly Merged Districts of KP. Forum reiterated the importance of energizing early induction of civil administration and other Law Enforcement Agencies along with speedy implementation of development plan within these districts for their ultimate transition to civil administration in an earlier time frame.
CCC expressed satisfaction over positive developments in Afghan Peace Process and efforts made thus far. Forum was also apprised about military engagements with friendly countries.
