Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa reviewed security situation in Corps Commanders Conference (CCC) held at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi today.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Bajwa on Tuesday, presided over CCC at GHQ, Rawalpindi to review security situation amid recent wave terror incidents in the country.
“Forum undertook comprehensive review of recent surge in terrorist incidents in country particularly in Tribal Districts and Balochistan,” said the statement issued by ISPR.
During the conference, the army chief highlighted and lauded the sacrifices made by both armed forces and civilians alike for achieving peace and stability.
“We have paid a very heavy price to achieve this peace and stability and any attempt to destabilize the country will be responded firmly,” said General Bajwa.
