Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa held a telephonic conversation with US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken, reported ISPR on Wednesday a day earlier.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Bajwa and US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken mulled over matters of mutual interest, regional security situation including latest developments in Afghan Peace Process and bilateral cooperation in various fields.
During the telephonic conversation, Army Chief General Bajwa noted that Pakistan will always support “Afghan led-Afghan Owned” Peace Process based on mutual consensus of all stakeholders.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken also acknowledged Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region and pledged to further enhance bilateral relations between both countries.
