Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lieutenant General Muhammad Afzal, on Wednesday, announced that all the personal protective equipment (PPEs) is being manufactured locally in Pakistan, making the country self-sufficient in PPE supply.
Speaking to a press briefing in Islamabad, Lt. General Muhammad Afzal reaffirmed that there is no shortage of PPEs in Pakistan as the country is manufacturing it locally and only ventilators are being imported from abroad, which is in fact significantly contributing to the preservation of foreign exchange reserves.
