Another 41 policemen have been diagnosed with COVID-19 coronavirus in Sindh on Tuesday.
According to the statistics issued by Sindh Police Welfare Department 41 policemen have tested positive for the novel virus taking the total number of affected police personnel in the province to 823.
Eight police personnel have succumbed to COVID-19 in Sindh, whereas 229 are reported to have recovered so far.

Furthermore, statistics from National Institute of Health (NIH) and Ministry of National Health Services reveals that so far a total of 4,195 healthcare workers have contracted the virus across the country.
Earlier, government officials had identified 16 Union Councils (UCs) in Karachi as coronavirus hotspots, further recommending to seal off these localities to curb the virus spread.
