“Not all heroes wear caps, some give food and shelter to a hungry stray dog”
We all are well aware of how this pandemic has caused the entire human race to be in a state of fear and uncertainty. Waking up each morning, not knowing what will happen till dusk and what has happened overnight while we were asleep. It seems merely as the entire earth has finally paused to take a break. We individuals are protecting the lives of ourselves by staying inside and doing our part, but our Mother earth isn’t only for us humans it’s for animals too. We are taking care of ourselves by shutting our doors and keeping them shut but these closed doors lead to another stray animal loosing hope of survival.
By staying home to ourselves we shall fight this pandemic, but the stray animals on our streets might die due to lack of food and water available.
Are the pets we keep at home close to ourselves and our heart are only worthy of taking care of? Are the animals we see on the road wandering from street to street with fear in their hearts and desperation in their eyes not our responsibility?
We as a society need to understand the significance of how vital it is to ensure the animals in our neighborhood don’t die because of starvation.
Its high time we take a stand as a responsible citizen towards not only our country but our stray animals as well. I urge on the fact that by feeding our neighborhood stray animals we can unite to keep them from starvation. Just even leaving our leftovers outside on our streets for such animals will eradicate to some extent the death of animals from hunger. Taking hold of our neighborhood is not something impossible, it doesn’t require us to travel far for this sake, it’s a matter of just taking a step outside our porch, our one step towards feeding stray animals will lead to one percent chance more of keeping them alive especially in this time of global crisis.
Due to streets being empty, restaurants being closed, garbage cans being void of adequate survival food for stray animals, the lives of such innocent animals are at stake.
Let’s all join hands and play our part in saving lives of such stray animals. We will fight this pandemic and ensure lives of humans as well as animals are safe.
May we all stay safe and pass this difficult time by being united!
