Federal Minister for Interior – Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has announced that Pakistan will be registering all foreigners coming to Pakistan.
Expressing his views in Islamabad, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed apprised that government has decided to register all foreign nationals coming to Pakistan.
The federal minister revealed that there are no whereabouts of around 40,000 to 50,000 foreigners who had entered the country during the past seven decades.
Sheikh Rashid Ahmed also said that the government is formulating a strategy for Pakistani nationals who have been left stranded at Torkham Border following government’s decision to close the border crossing with Afghanistan over COVID-19 concerns.
Responding to a question regarding Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) the Interior Minister said that the issue will be discussed by federal cabinet in its next meeting.
