Karachi is set to receive its second monsoon spell starting from Friday (tomorrow).
According to Sardar Sarfraz – Director Pakistan Meteorological Department Sindh, Karachi is set to receive rainfall from Friday as the second monsoon spell is expected to enter the city on Thursday night.
Sardar Sarfraz said that the city might receive dust storms prior to the rainfall, meanwhile Tharparkar and Mithi have already received rain spells on Wednesday night.
Furthermore, the second rain spell is expected to continue till July 19 and the metropolis is expected to receive substantial amount of rain, he added.

Prior to this, Karachi experienced its first rain spell last week from July 6 to 9, along with strong dust storms and thunder storms 40-44 kilometers per hour reported in the metropolis.
