Grand Health Alliance (GHA), is expected to stage a protest in front of Chief Minister (CM) House after weeks of protests at various government hospitals across the city over various issues faced by healthcare workers.
GHA has been protesting for two weeks, and even staged a sit-in at Karachi press club over government negligence on various issues faced by medical fraternity and healthcare workers amid virus pandemic.
GHA has presented a 13-point agenda, including the establishment of isolation centers and facilities on urgent basis across the province, to cope up with the continuous exponential surge in coronavirus cases.
The establishment of isolation facilities is imperative to ease the burden on doctors and ensure the safety of healthcare workers treating COVID-19 patients.
