KARACHI:The Sindh High Court has lifted the stay against Sindh government’s order to private schools to deduct their monthly fee by 20% in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.
The Sindh High Court had issued a stay order after private schools challenged the government’s directives.
The court ruled on Thursday that there was no need to continue with the order since the provincial government had approved the Coronavirus Emergency Relief Ordinance, 2020.
Earlier, Sindh High Court had directed schools not to expel students if they fail to pay their fee during the coronavirus lockdown.
