Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi on Tuesday, accused Sindh government of tampering with the Joint Investigation Report (JIT) on Uzair Baloch.
Addressing a press briefing along with Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz, Ali Zaidi stated that Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Sindh government tampered with the JIT report to exclude and hide their leaders’ association with the gang war kingpin.
Citing authenticity concerns, Ali Zaidi highlighted the fact that the JIT report issued by Sindh government only has four signatures whereas the JIT constituted of six members.
Furthermore, Ali Zaidi accused that Uzair Baloch had close links with various senior PPP leaders including Faryal Talpur, Abdul Qadir Patel, and Sharjeel Memon and these individuals have been named in the ‘original’ JIT report, whereas the one released by Sindh government has excluded these names altogether.

“The report unveiled by Sindh has 35 pages with signature of four people while the actual report has 43 pages and signature of six people,” noted the federal minister.
In addition to it, Ali Zaidi urged the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) to take notice of the matter under Article 184 (3) of the constitution of Pakistan.
The development comes as Sindh government on Monday, released the JIT reports on Uzair Baloch, Nisar Morai and Baldia factory fire incident.
