Ajmal Khan Wazir, on Saturday, has been removed from the post of advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Information.
As per the details, Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan’s advisor on Information – Ajmal Khan Wazir has resigned from the post citing ‘personal reasons’.
“I am unable to dispense my duties as the information adviser, therefor I am resigning from my post,” he said.
However, according to sources Ajmal Wazir Khan has been sacked as KP CM’s advisor over the matters pertaining to a purportedly leaked audio tape.
Meanwhile, Kamran Bangash – CM’s advisor on Local Bodies and Rural Development has been given the additional charge of Information and Public Relations Adviser
Ajmal Khan Wazir was elected from PK-101 (Bajaur-II) on the ticket of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and had been serving as KP Chief Minister’s special advisor on Information.
