Mohammad Nabi demonstrated his experience and stitched a significant partnership with Zadran to help their sweep past Pakistan side with thirteen balls to spare. Muhammad Nabi hit a six to pave way for his team’s triumph.
Zadran also made unbeaten 23-ball 17, which was a supportive innings, considering the situation his side was facing at one stage of the match.
For Pakistan side, Ihsanullah took two wickets on debut and once again excellent in terms of economy rate, conceding just 17-run in 23 balls.
Earlier, deciding to bat first, Afghanistan’s bowlers restricted Pakistan’s side to 92-9, courtesy brilliance with the bowl from Fazalhaq Farooqi, Mujeeb ur Rehman, and Muhammad Nabi.
The wicket seemed to be very slow as just four batters could reach to double figure.
It was for the first time in the history of cricket that Afghanistan had beaten green shirts in any of the international matches.
