National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Court, on Friday, has summoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and former Prime Minister and PPP leader Yousaf Raza Gillani in Toshakhana fake bank accounts case.
During the hearing of Toshakhana fake bank accounts case in accountability court, NAB prosecutor contented that the former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani had provided cars to Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif by unlawful means.
He further stated that Asif Ali Zardari used fake bank accounts to pay for the cars, of which only 15 per cent of the total cost was paid.
Furthermore, Asif Ali Zardari has also been accused by NAB of using these vehicles for personal use instead of handing them over to Toshakhana.
In addition to it, NAB has also accused Nawaz Sharif of getting a government vehicle for his personal use back in 2008 when he did not held any public office.
Upon hearing NAB prosecutor’s arguments, the court has summoned the three accused suspects, and has ordered Yousaf Raza Gillani to appear on May 29.
