Murtaza Wahab – spokesman for Sindh government, on Saturday, announced the government’s decision to establish a 400-bed capacity infectious disease hospital in Karachi to deal with the COVID-19 situation in the metropolitan city.
“This will be the first of its kind institute for infectious diseases in Pakistan,” said the government spokesman.

Furthermore, Mr Wahab clarified that the hospital will be equipped with the best available equipment and treatment facilities and will also treat patients other than that of COVID-19.
