Dozens of Sindhi nationalists pledged their allegiance to Pakistan on Friday (today) on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s birthday.
As per details, around 70 Sindhi nationalists announced their decision to put off their separatist activities accepting Pakistan’s sovereignty and unity.
A ceremony was held in Sukkur which was attended by dozens of Sindhi nationalists, who previously had been opposing Pakistan’s sovereignty, integrity.
These Sindhi nationalists belonged from Sukkur and Khairpur districts.
The attendants waved Pakistani flags, and raised slogans saying ‘long live Pakistan’, ‘long live Pak Army’.
Expressing their views, these Sindhi nationalists maintained that they were ‘misled’, for now they will contribute to the prosperity and development of Pakistan.
From today we have no association with Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) and Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM), they noted.
We stand together with Pakistan Army against anti-state elements, they added.
