Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has approved the provision of medicines and medical equipment for high dependency units (HUDs) in field isolation centres across the province.
Chairing a meeting of the provincial health department, the chief minister gave approval on the summary floated by the health ministry.
Cm Shah said that the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) was providing 73 beds for intensive care units and 428 for HUDs.
These beds provided by the NDMA will be distributed among different hospitals.
