The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) delivers personal protective equipment (PPEs) to 49 hospitals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
According to PDMA officials, PPE consignment containing 10,500 N-95 masks, 4,410 D-95 and 15,750 KN-95 masks have been sent to 49 hospitals across the province to assist healthcare workers in dealing with coronavirus patients.
Furthermore, the shipment also includes 1,500 protective gears, 105,000 medical face masks 5250 pairs of surgical gloves, 1,050 face shields, 5,986 caps, 21,000 shoe cover to protect doctors, nurses and paramedical staff from contracting the novel virus.
It is to be noted that 552 healthcare workers have been affected by COVID-19, whereas four have died due to novel virus.
The provincial tally of coronavirus cases stands at 9,067 with 2,731 recoveries 445 deaths so far.
