Riyadh: Saudi government has announced that it will be suspending all international flights due to coronavirus pandemic.
Saudi foreign ministry tweeted, “The Kingdom’s government decided to suspend international flights for two weeks [Starting from Sunday March 15th] as part of its efforts to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.”
Earlier, officials suspended flights to all EU countries as well as Switzerland, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Sudan, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Eritrea, Kenya, Djibouti, and Somalia.
A total of 62 coronavirus cases have been registered in the Kingdom so far.
