Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir lambasted the deputy commissioner (DC) of Multan on Tuesday, seeking action against their “unacceptable” behaviour towards his family during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Amir wrote: “Shocked by the unacceptable behaviour of the Deputy Commissioner of Multan, who reportedly mistreated my family, arrogantly claiming ownership of the ground & unjustly ejecting them during a match.”
“This abuse of power is intolerable! Urging authorities for immediate action,” said the pacer, calling on newly-elected Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to take action against the police.
Amir was picked by Quetta Gladiators in the PSL 9 after being released by Karachi Kings. He was the part of Kings since the first season, which was in 2016.
