Where Corona Lockdown has impacted many other sectors, so there education has also been badly affected. As far as the school system is concerned, this is not a big issue. and the board system has also solved by the government.
But if we talk about the university system it is quite different, because university education system is totally different from school and College system in every mean!
In Corona Lockdown, the university administration has adopted the way of online classes, by that they are providing education through internet to the students.
Speaking of Europe, the online class system is common there and everyone is accustomed to it and they have all the facilities available on advance level, but in a country like Pakistan where the people have two time of meal is hardly available, so the education is so far away.
If we talk about inner city people, it is very difficult for them to attend online classes as load shedding is a major problem there and when it comes to internet connection, it is not provided properly in a big city like Karachi. So the talk of inner city is far away!
Now if we talk about students who are residents of cities and I am also from one of them, the problems we are facing in online classes are that lectures are difficult to understand, we lose the internet connection between lectures.
Some students are not taking online classes as seriously, and we are facing problems in practical subjects more than theoretical, we are unable to perform the practicals, because practices can’t be performed online.
And another major problem for students is that most students live in the join family system and have no specific place where they can study with concentration.
And in Ramadan the engagements increase, and it becomes difficult to manage time, sleep is not well enough and in these circumstances it is very difficult to attend online classes in the early morning!
For all these reasons, the majority of the students want semester break. So that their grades not get affected.
