Pakistan on Thursday told foreign nations that the country doesn’t need any advice on elections and it takes its constitutional obligations seriously.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch made these remarks at a weekly briefing when asked to comment on concerns raised by other nations including the United States over the electoral exercise.
The US had asked Pakistan to conduct investigations into complaints over results.
The spokesperson, while responding to a query, said, “We are fulfilling our constitutional responsibilities. There is no need for foreign advice related to the election.
