LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday expressed her disapproval over hike in petroleum products’ (POL) prices announced by the coalition government last night.
In her tweets, she said she stood by the people and could not support the government’s decision.
She went on to add that when former prime minister and her father Nawaz Sharif learnt about it, he vehemently opposed it saying he did not want to burden the people. “And if the government is left with no other choice, I will not be part of the government’s that decision,” she quoted her father as saying.
