PESHAWAR: The counting of votes in 17 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) for local government elections is underway.
According to the unofficial and unconfirmed results of 24 Tehsil chairman seats, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has won 10 chairman seats, followed by independent candidates with five seats. JUI-F has also bagged five seats, ANP two, while PML-N and JI have managed to grab a single chairman seat each.- Advertisement –
So far two results of Mayor elections have also been announced according to the unconfirmed and unofficial results. JUI-F won the Kohat Mayorship seat, while ANP won the Mayor seat from Mardan.
