Two Pakistan Army personnel have been martyred in an IED attack in Balochistan’s Pasni, reported ISPR on Thursday (today).
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Terrorists targeted Security Forces using an IED in Khuda Bux Bazar near Pasni, Balochistan.
Two Pakistan Army personnel identified as Captain Affan Masood and Sepoy Babar Zaman embraced martyrdom in the terrorist attack.
Search operation is in progress to apprehend the perpetrators. Such cowardly acts by inimical elements, backed by hostile intelligence agencies (HIAs) cannot sabotage the hard earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan, said ISPR.
The military spokesperson also reassured that security forces are determined to neutralize such nefarious designs at all costs.
The development comes as earlier, two Pakistan Army soldiers namely Captain Basit – 25 years, resident of Haripur and Sepoy Hazrat Bilal – 22 years, resident of Orakzai, were martyred during a firefight with militants in Zewa area of Kurram District.
Three terrorists were also killed during the sanitization operation.
