Justice Ameer Bhatti has taken oath as new Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday (today).
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar took oath from Justice Ameer Bhatti as new Chief Justice LHC at Governor House Punjab.
The oath taking ceremony was also attended by CM Punjab Usman Buzdar, provincial ministers, LHC judges and various other senior government officials.
Justice Ameer Bhatti began his legal career after completing his LLB from Multan’s Bahaduddin Zakaraiya University 1985 followed by his enrolment as an Advocate High Court in 1988.
He also served as member of International Bar Association London (1991-1994), member of the American Bar Association (ABA) 2000-2002, and General Secretary High Court Bar Association Multan between 1999 till 2000.
Justice Ameer Bhatti ascended as Advocate Supreme of Pakistan in 2001 and was elevated to Lahore High Court, Lahore as an additional judge in 2011.
