Authorities have arrested another key suspect who allegedly parked the explosive-laden vehicle in Lahore’s Johar Town last week. The blast had killed three people and injured around two dozen others.
Security agencies have arrested another key suspect in Lahore’s Johar Town blast case. Eid Gul – the suspect who parked the explosive-laden vehicle at the incident site.
The suspect Eid Gul along with his his two brothers are placed on the fourth schedule. The suspect had traveled abroad several times in the past few years.
As per sources, during investigation Eid Gul has revealed that he was living with his family in Jhang from Waziristan and spent a lot of time in Rawalpindi with his brothers for work and had come in contact Peter Paul David a few years back.
Authorities have apprehended a total of seven people in Johar Town blast case so far. Last week, security agencies apprehended a mechanic suspected of being a facilitator in the terrorist attack and who purportedly ‘prepared’ the explosive-laden vehicle used in the incident.

Separately, a woman named Kiran was also taken in custody from Lahore upon the information given by Peter Paul David, another suspect who is the owner of the car used in the terrorist attack. another meanwhile, another suspected terrorist Sajjad Hussain was arrested from Mandi Bahauddin last week. The suspect has reportedly admitted to facilitating in shifting the black sedan used in the terrorist attack.
A case has already been registered in CTD Lahore police station on the complaint of SHO Abid Baig. The FIR included 7ATA, 3/4 Explosives Act, 302, 324, 148/149 and other serious provisions.
