Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Elsisi and mulled over bilateral security cooperation, reported ISPR on Tuesday (today).
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), CJCSC General Nadeem Raza, on his official visit to Egypt met with Abdel Fattah Elsisi – President of Egypt.
During the meeting the two exchanged views on bilateral military cooperation including security, counter-terrorism and prevailing regional environment.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Elsisi praised Pakistan’s Armed Forces and accentuated that he valued brotherly relations between both the countries.
Meanwhile CJCSC General Nadeem Raza also reaffirmed Pakistan’s wish to strengthen existing bilateral military to military cooperation with Egypt.

Furthermore, CJCSC General Nadeem Raza also held separate meetings with General Mohamed Ahmed Zaki – Minister of Defence & Commander-in-Chief of Egyptian Armed Forces and Chiefs of the Tri-Services.
Leading the second round of Defence and Security Talks, CJCSC General Nadeem Raza underscored the positive role of Pakistan in countering violent extremism, regional stability, connectivity and it’s impact on the region and apprised of Pakistan’s contributions and efforts for peace and stability in Afghanistan.
