Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) – General Nadeem Raza met with Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) and mulled over bilateral relations and military cooperation between the two countries.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), CJCSC General Nadeem Raza, while on his official visit to Jordan interacted with his Jordanian counterpart on Saturday (today).
The two dignitaries exchanged views on various areas of interest including security, defence cooperation and prevailing regional environment.
General Nadeem Raza and Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity reiterated their commitment to further strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation between the two countries.
Meanwhile, CJCSC General Nadeem Raza offered to expand its existing bilateral military to military cooperation with Jordan.
During the meeting, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity praised the professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their sacrifices in fight against terrorism.
Furthermore, for his services regarding Pak-Jordan bilateral relations, CJCSC General Nadeem Raza has also been awarded with ‘Order of Military Merit of the First Grade’ – Jordan’s highest military award, on behalf His Majesty King Abdullah-II, President of Jordan.
Additionally, during his official visit to the Kingdom, General Nadeem Raza also paid a visit to King Abdullah-II Special Operations Training Centre (KASOTC) and witnessed a counter terrorism exercise by JAF’s Special Forces Group, said ISPR.
