Sindh government has directed all government employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 coronavirus.
As per details, Sindh government has made COVID-19 vaccination mandatory for all government employees and has directed secretaries of all government departments to ensure the implementation and compliance to new government directives.
Two educational institutions will be used as COVID-19 vaccination centers in each district, tehsil.
Meanwhile, District Education Officers (DEOs) have been directed to provide a detailed list of available educational institutions which can be used as COVID-19 vaccination centers.
It is pertinent to know that Sindh government had opened Pakistan’s largest COVID-19 vaccination facility at Karachi Expo Center on May 7th earlier this month.
Karachi Expo Center vaccination facility operational 24 hours a day and is capable to inoculate 30,000 people against COVID-19 coronavirus on a daily basis.
Earlier, Sindh government had also announced to open drive-through COVID-19 vaccination facility as part of its efforts to curb coronavirus spread in the province.
The drive-through COVID-19 vaccination facility will comprise of mobile vaccine vans which will be set up drive-through vaccination centers at sea view Karachi, shopping plazas and universities, said government sources.
