Chief Of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday (today) chaired a session of promotion board meeting at GHQ, Rawalpindi and approved the promotion of several Pakistan Army officers from the rank of Brigadier to Major General.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Brigadiers Sheharyar Parvez Butt, Omar Maqbool, Muhammad Asim Khan, Ghulam Muhammad, Muhammad Nadeem Ashraf, Amer Ashfaq Kayani, Muhammad Imtanan Babar, Abdul Sami, Umar Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Shahid Siddeeq, Brigadier Muhammad Farhan Yousaf, Brigadier Muneer Ud Din, Brigadier Muhammad Irfan Khan, Brigadier Noor Wali Khan, Brigadier Kamal Anwar Chaudhry, Brigadier Salman Moin, Brigadier Naseem Anwer, Brigadier Malik Amir Muhammad Khan, Brigadier Adnan Sarwar Malik, Brigadier Mohammad Qaddafi, Brigadier Muhammad Naeem Akhtar, Brigadier Muhammad Shahab Aslam, Brigadier Nadeem Yousaf, Brigadier Farrukh Shahzad Rao and Brigadier Khurram Nisar have been promoted to the rank of major general.
Officers promoted from Army Medical Corps who have been promoted include Brigadiers Iftikhar Ahmed Satti, Syed Adil Hussain, Qamar Un Nisa Choudhry, Irfan Ali Mirza, Muhammad Rafiq Zafar, Muhammad Waseem, Muhammad Suhail Amin, Naseer Ahmad Samore, Shazia Nisar, Eijaz Ghani, Arshad Naseem, and Nadeem Ahmad Rana. These officers have also been promoted to the rank of Major General.
