Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has de-sealed Mardan’s Union Council Manga after the tests of 109 residents came negative for COVID-19 coronavirus.
Around 29 villages have been de-sealed in the first phase and 35 per cent of the area has been de-sealed while rest will be opened phase wise, said the Additional Deputy Commissioner Mushtaque Hussain.
The Union council Manga has been under a 14-day lockdown after its residents tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus. A total of 525 people were tested for coronavirus, of which 88 were diagnosed with the novel virus.
As of now, the province has reported 405 COVID-19 cases, with 62 recoveries and 16 deaths.
