Pakistan has offered to train Qatari forces enabling them to utilize country’s comprehensive military training infrastructure.
In a statement Ms Zubaida Jalal Khan – Federal Minister for Defence Production, has offered Qatar military training to Qatari forces.
Ms Zubaida Jalal Khan met with Qatari Ambassador Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in the federal capital and proposed the training of Qatari armed forces in Pakistan.
The move to offer military training for Qatari armed forces is aimed at further strengthening and expanding Pakistan’s economic and security cooperation with Qatar via military training and other joint ventures.
Meanwhile, Qatari delegate also reiterated his country’s commitment to continue extensive cooperation, collaboration with Pakistan in various domains.
It is to be noted that COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa had met with Qatar’s Emir Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani on his two-day visit to Qatar in January earlier this year. The two had mulled over matters of mutual interests along with regional security situation and defence cooperation between the two countries.
