Federal cabinet has approved a 40 % increase in the salaries of government employees on Tuesday (today).
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan headed a federal cabinet meeting on Tuesday (today) and approved the proposal regarding increase in government employees’ salaries.
A 40 % increase has been approved in the salaries of government employees.
Meanwhile, the federal government has given provincial governments the authority to decide over the matter of increase in government employees’ salaries under their domain.
Expressing his views on the COVID-19 vaccination process, PM Imran Khan stressed upon the provinces must ensure transparency and merit in the inoculation process.
During the meeting, the cabinet members were briefed that elders will be prioritized in the COVID-19 vaccination process.
