Federal government’s Ehsaas Kafalat programme will now provide financial assistance to parents of special children.
As per details, Pakistan’s First Lady and wife of President Arif Alvi – Begum Samina Alvi on Friday (today) announced that ‘differently-abled’ children will now be able to benefit from federal government’s Ehsaas Kafalat Programme.
The First Lady also apprised that a ‘one-window’ operation is being launched to register differently-abled children across the country.
Begum Samina Alvi highlighted that there is a need of making such children self-reliant and that government’s is focused on providing vocational training to differently-abled people in cooperation with the business community of Karachi.
During her visit to foundation of the differently-abled people in Islamabad, the First Lady was briefed on various services being provided to differently-abled children such as education, training, therapy etc.
