Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has reiterated Pakistan’s principle stand that the country will not recognize Israel unless Palestine issue is solved.
Expressing his views while speaking to media in Multan, FM Qureshi highlighted that he has appraised UAE leadership that Pakistan will not recognize the Jewish state unless Palestine issue is solved.
He categorically denied rumors regarding Pakistan being under pressure to recognize Israel.
Commenting on his recent trip to UAE, foreign minister revealed that he duly briefed the Emirati leaders regarding Pakistan’s policy towards Israel-Palestine issue.
Furthermore, Qureshi noted that the visa issue is a temporary one and will soon be solved.
It is to be noted that Shah Mahmood Qureshi had met with UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his two-day visit to UAE last week.
During the meeting he two foreign ministers exchanged views on the positive progress with regard to efforts for bringing peace in Afghanistan and deteriorating peace and security situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
