One Sindh Rangers official is said to have been injured in a cracker attack at one of the Karachi University’s gate on Tuesday (today).
As per details, a Sindh Rangers official has been injured in a cracker attack which took place at University of Karachi’s Sheikh Zayed Gate on Tuesday afternoon.
The wounded has been shifted to the hospital for medical treatment.
The assailants came on a motorcycle and fled the scene after throwing the cracker targeting Sindh Rangers personnel posted at the university gate.
Following the incident, additional police, Sindh Rangers personnel have been deployed at the university.
Further investigation is underway.
Earlier in the day, Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) recovered and diffused a magnetic explosive device which was attached to a vehicle near Bilawal Chowrangi.
