Voice of Sindh (VoS) on account of Sindh’s Cultural Day released a short film titled ‘Sindh Meri Jaan’ to commemorate the day and also give answers to any misconceptions surrounding the event.
The initiative has garnered rave reviews and appreciation after its release on December 6 on various social media platforms and Youtube.
The ambiance created with a setting of a traditional Sindhi Mach Kachehri has been held in great esteem with the efforts being lauded for their authentic portrayal, true to the folk style living seen in Sindh’s rural belt.
‘Sindh Meri Jaan’ is the fifth offering from Project Director Voice of Sindh, Dr. Umair Haroon after producing critical successes like Jinnah Tum Durust Thay, Tareekh Kay Musaafir, Aye Pak Watan and Sitaron Say Aagay.
In a first, Educationist and Patron in Chief Voice of Sindh, Mr. Hunaid Lakhani has also played a pivotal character with sage like qualities who eventually makes sense of a heated debate among friends which is the basic premise of the story.
The story penned by veteran writer, Iqbal Khursheed has been produced by Chaudhry Osama Saeed while directorial credits go to Mehroze Ahmed.
