Addressing a press conference on Monday, Chairman Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP), Mustafal Kamal leveled serious anti-state allegations against the current convener to Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P).
Kamal said that Siddiqui had been working hand in gloves with Indian Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) in an effort to disrupt peace and prosperity in Pakistan.
The former Mayor Karachi said that Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui went to India in 2000 on the directions of MQM’s founder, held meetings with the R&AW officials and spoke against Pakistan.
“Siddiqui tore up his Pakistani passport and travelled to America on diplomatic passport provided by R&AW,” the PSP chief alleged.
Kamal continued that Siddiqui was arrested in United States and then released on bail, he remained out of the proverbial scene for 13 years and now finds himself heading MQM-P.
He also said that MQM-P was created due to necessity and the party’s name, symbol and flag are still reminiscent of its nefarious founder.
