A civilian is said to have been injured in cross-border shelling by Indian forces along the Line of Control (LOC), said ISPR on Tuesday.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian forces resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in Bagsar Sector along LOC targeting civil population.
A 45-year old man was injured in the cross-border shelling and has been evacuated to nearby hospital for necessary medical care, read the statement issued by ISPR.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Army effectively responded to unprovoked Indian fire and targeted Indian post which initiated fire.
It is pertinent to know that Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) summoned senior Indian diplomat to protest over ceasefire violations (CFVs) by the Indian forces along LOC.
The statement issued by FO highlighted that India has committed 2,580 CFVs this year, resulting in 19 casualties and serious injuries to 199 innocent civilians on the Pakistani side.
