Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has reiterated Pakistan’s principle stance for the resolution of Kashmir, Palestine issues in accordance with UNSC Resolutions.
In a video statement issued at a virtual ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) hosted by Azerbaijan, FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi stressed upon the significance of resolution of Palestine and Kashmir issues as per the aspirations of Palestinians and Kashmiris respectively.
The minister also voiced concerns at continued denial of the inalienable right to self-determination to the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Furthermore, Qureshi also condemned Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan amidst deteriorating security situation in Nagorno-Karabakh region.
He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s support and solidarity with the brotherly nation of Azerbaijan and supported Azerbaijan’s position which is in line with the several UN Security Council resolutions.
Foreign Minister also reiterated Pakistan’s to NAM and its founding principles aimed at peace, equality, cooperation, refraining from aggression and interference and general welfare.
