A Pakistan Army soldier was martyred in cross-border shelling by Indian forces along Line of Control (LOC).
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Indian troops resorted to unprovoked indiscriminate firing along LOC on Tuesday (today).
A Pakistan Army soldier Sepoy Shafiq was martyred in the Indian ceasefire violation (CFVs).
Meanwhile, a 15-year old boy also embraced martyrdom due to Indian cross-border shelling in Baroh and Tandar sectors along LOC.
Four civilians also sustained injuries as a result of Indian CFVs.
Pakistan Army effectively responded to Indian ceasefire violations and targeted Indian Army posts accordingly.
Earlier, diplomats and defense attaches of 24 countries on September 24 had visited LOC to witness the aftermath of Indian cross-border shelling and CFVs targeting civilian population on the Pakistani side.
The delegation included representatives from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, South Africa, Palestine, European Union, Bosnia, Azerbaijan, Greece, Australia, Iran, Iraq, UK, Italy, Poland, Germany, France, Egypt, Switzerland, Libya, Afghanistan and others.
The dignitaries were briefed by Director General (DG) ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar on loss of life and property due to unprovoked and indiscriminate firing by Indian forces along LOC.
