The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued new guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for international travelers.
The new guidelines will be in effect from September 24th to September 31st and will require passengers to download ‘Pass Track App’, either via google play store or app store.
Passengers unable to access smartphones can register themselves on passtrack website.
Meanwhile, children under 12 years of age, disabled passengers and high level International delegations referred by Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be exempted from the registration process requirements.
Furthermore, international passengers from category B countries will be required to possess a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test conducted not more than 96 hours prior to the travel.
Countries have been categorized after comprehensive assessment conducted by Ministry of National Health Services.
